The philodendron Birkin has oval shaped leaves with creamy yellow pinstripes. Thick fleshy lime green stems hold the foliage at attention. Birkins perform best in bright indirect light. If grown in darker conditions, the leaves will not be as colorful.
Birkins enjoy a warm and humid environment. This makes them especially ideal for brightly lit bathrooms and kitchens.
Birkins prefer moist soil but not too wet. Water regularly and allow the soil to partly dry before watering again. Fertilize regularly with basic house plant food.
