The Monstera Minima, botanically known as Rhapidophora Tetrasperma, is a vigorous growing vining plant. As it matures, it develops fenestrated leaves similar to its Araceae cousin, Monstera Deliciosa, earning it the nick name Mini Monstera. However, the Minima is more compact and takes up less space than its cousin.
Because of its rapid growth and vining nature, the Minima loves to climb. A moss pole or trellis should be provided to help ensure strong stems. The Minima will need repotting at least once a year.
The Minima is happiest in a high light area with plenty of bright, indirect light. You should water your Minima on a regular basis, allowing the soil to dry between watering. Be careful and don't let it get too dry for long periods of time. Fertilize regularly with a basic house plant fertilizer.
